THATS A WONDERFUL EVERYTHING YOU HAVE THERE.

Lets just say for your sake you've heard of this game before, and if you haven't you were simply in a diabetic coma. If you have no idea what the fuck that green box guy is doing there its because you haven't heard of Minecraft. Minecraft is quickly becoming a huge hit with a ton of people for its simplicity and the ability to do whatever you want.

What is this game? Its a simple game made by a single man where you explore build and survive. The entire world is completely destructable and made of 1x1x1 bricks that you can manipulate to your fancy. Build huge castles made of glass or make a dick in the sand, the possibilities are endless. Then have all that hard work ended by a creeper whose sole mission is to sneak up on you give you a small heart attack and then blow the shit out of whatever you were making.

You can customize the world more by downloading player skins to change how you look to almost anything and by getting texture packs which greatly change how the entire world looks around you. These features are both totally supported in single and multiplayer.

So Minecraft is currently still in public beta and has no set release date as the creator is kind of making things up as he goes. It has singleplayer and multiplayer and i gotta say its fun as shit and you need to go see what all the buzz is about. During beta its 25% off the price of the game. Which is just 15 Euros which since i'm not some nerd economist i can't convert to USD without giving a fuck.

Seriously though, buy this play this, love this, then get pissed when you get creeper ambushed as soon as you find your first diamond and ragequit this.

Introducing... Music Monday, on a Tuesday?

Yep it may be late this week but its time to introduce a new weekly segment that i'll just refer to as music monday
     -"Real clever"
yea pretty much.

I'll be showcasing a different artist each week in various genres, this won't be some lady justin biebga auto-tune shitbaggery I assure you.
Since I waited an extra day to start this segment I guess its fitting to add an extra artist this week.

The Glitch Mob

Via wiki page(i know i'm lazy) The Glitch Mob is a three-piece electronic group from Los Angeles, composed of Ed Ma (edIT), Justin Boreta (Boreta) and Josh Mayer (Ooah) The group, originally a four-piece including Kraddy, was formed in 2006 within the burgeoning Los Angeles bass-driven 'beat' scene.

The group's debut album, Drink The Sea, debuted on the iTunes Electronic Chart at number five and peaked on the CMJ Top 200 Chart for College Radio at #57. The album's debut led Electronic Musician to run a cover story on the trio.

The electronic beats are just too addicting to deny, The Glitch Mob is one of those hidden gems I plan to find and expose through this segment. They're fairly new and who knows maybe we'll hear more about them later.

Two Steps From Hell

Ever wonder where those movies get their epic music from? Well now you know. Two steps from hell has churned out over 800 tracks none of which fail to disappoint. Every Album has a different distinct sound to it but they all share the same distinct epic feeling. This music will spice up everything be it rubbernecking with the hoards of dribble chins on your way to work, cooking up a nice tasty delivery pizza, or dueling your cat to the death.

Handegg Finals Tonight

With the superbowl just a few minutes away and with it the most interesting commercials of the year. Its reminding me of the last time the steelers won the superbowl. Or when anything ever happens in pittsburgh. All of the dirty drunk college goblins pour into the streets and break shit.
So another year another riot it seems and although i don't follow Football and generally consider it one of the worst professional sports, I guess seeing a bunch of rowdy morons tearing up the city over some guys being the best at carrying an egg 300 feet into a safety rectangle for millions of dollars a year.

With that i leave you with the sights and sounds of past years in pittsburgh.
